7-Day defaults to 2 weeks ago

Accessing the 7-Day view consistently drops me into notes taken several weeks ago. I understand there's a feature request to have that view start at today. That post implies that view defaults to Sunday. What I'm experiencing is the view returning to notes I took 2 weeks ago, and I have to scroll forward multiple times to get to the current day. Sorry if I've misunderstood how this feature works, or this is a duplicate post? Thanks!

The 7-day view defaults to the day you have selected in the calendar (starting with that day). Might have been a confusion?

Just to follow up, this seems to have fixed itself. If I can make it happen again I'll report steps to reproduce.
