I agree with these. Capacities and other PKM systems have much better search capabilities. Excluding calendar items would be extremely helpful for a start. Including only the currently selected folder would also be extremely helpful. I currently put the name of the folder inside the note along with keywords to enable "folder specific" searching but that's..klunky.
That or some other way to restrict search scope – include (or not) calendar items, include (or not) notes, include only (or not) tasks… A search for "roadmap" in my NotePlan database reveals a few recent tasks that are relevant and SCADS of irrelevant calendar items (that arrive late and re-flow the results) just because one of the recurring meetings I've been in forever mentions the word "roadmap," so it'd be nice to be able to narrow down.
Same (in a similar way) ... the search just shows too much, so in the same fashion, If I had nested folders be able to search those but not daily, so if I had a root client folder; client - 2024 - 2023 I would like to search through the client for 'database' but OMIT daily notes, so something for illustrative again folder: client !daily database So !daily would be omit daily or something like that
