App doesn't save state when you open and close.
On the sidebar, collapse "Calendar Notes" and expand "Filters". Close the app and reopen. The expectation is to have Calendar Notes collapsed, and Filters expanded, just as you left, but the app doesn't save state and Calendar Notes is always expanded, and Filters is always collapsed.
