The big day is here! Renaming tags just implemented on Mac and iOS. Will be available in the next beta (and subsequent release).

Eduard Metzger: How about remove as well?

Paul Sydney: Hm, technically you could rename to "", but yeah, that's not very intuitive. Let me add another button!

Eduard Metzger: A confirmation dialog on rename or remove might be a good idea.

Highly recommend!

Me interesa mucho habilitar la posibilidad de: editar o borrar los nombres de etiquetas y meciones lo cual harìa mas util y pràctico Noteplen3.

Bear allows renaming with right click, very convenient. One can rename or delete the tag, fuse tags into one by changing the name to an already existing tag, or change the nesting order.

I also recommend that tags and mentions could be deleted as part of the options (rename, delete..) since it's a real hassle to go through all previously tagged notes and clean things up when once changes their mind or wants to archive something.

It would be possible-but-tricky to respect all the capitalisation on a rename. So if the tag is `@xyz_corp/eduard` and a note has `@XYZ_Corp/Eduard`, and you rename the tag to `@abc_corp`, then the note text would be `@abc_corp/Eduard`.

I suppose we're thinking about the same thing : 1) In the sidebar, right click on a hashtag #tesst and choose "Rename" 2) Change the name from #tesst to #test 3) The hashtag will be replaced everywhere ... or something like this :)

podiboq: That's how I also understood it.
