Calender Event notifications and shortcuts in Mac menu bar

It will be great if Calender Events notifications can be incorporated within noteplan and Calender Events/ notifications can be displayed in Mac menu bar (similar to what akiflow does). This way Noteplan can be the place where I can conduct my entire work, without ever having to switch windows to other apps

In the screenshot you are showing, there is a list of events. NotePlan does also display it on the right side, in the timeline below the monthly calendar. You get also the native notifications from Apple Calendar. What’s missing is just a menu bar pop up. I personally always check directly inside NotePlan. Is this really a core feature or do I miss something?

There are workarounds to some of this already: SwiftBar (also BitBar and XBar) have a NotePlan plugin I’ve written to expose today’s remaining tasks. Not difficult to have a calendar menu next to it …
