Case-Sensitive hashtags and mentions

I use multi-word terms for hashtags and mentions sometimes. Also, there are some acronyms or proper nouns where case matters. For others, it may just be clunky to use - or _ to separate thing. I would like to have an option to make hashtags case-sensitive. If this already exists and I just missed it please point me to it.

David Forrest You need to be clear whether you're asking for case to be preserved (e.g. #CountMeIn), or whether you're also after full case sensitivity (e.g. #CountMeIn is possible and so is #countmein). If it's the first, then #CountMeIn :-)

Although, I could live with simply preserving case. There would be a small number of instances where, say, an acronym (upper case) is not the same thing as the lower-case hashtag with the same letters.
