Complete tasks automatically

NotePlan has been transformative for me. It is so fast, so reliable. I love having the speed and flexibility of plain text with the organizational structure of a calendar. There's only one thing that could make it better. I know this may sound a little nuts, but what if… NotePlan completed tasks for you? I don't mean just "checking tasks off"; I mean what if NotePlan could actually *do the thing* described in the task? For example, if I write * Take out the trash >2023-06-25 this creates a task for me to actually *do* (work!) and then check off later (my reward, I guess, for doing the task). What if NotePlan could *actually take out the trash* on or before the specified date? And then either check off the task itself (NotePlan's reward, yay) or maybe have a new "verification state" in which NP-completed tasks go into a queue. Then I, as the human, manually verify the task is completed successfully and to my liking. If so, then I check it off. (BONUS: This would be a perfect opportunity to integrate “AI”, which every tech product desperately needs in order to stay useful! Did I say "useful"? I meant buzzworthy and investor-friendly!) If this sounds like too much to integrate into NP core, I totally understand, but maybe one of the brilliant plugin developers could tackle this problem. I am sure it is a complicated feature to develop, but just think of how much time and work it would save all the NotePlan users!!! 😘

Great idea 👍 And what would really complete the much needed functionality circle would be if NotePlan AI could add the tasks that I needed it to carry out in the first place! Then I wouldn’t have to think about or plan my life at all! I could enjoy being a passive component of the mechanical life that was generate for me and just continue to consume energy and computer generated content deemed agreeable to me by the machines!

Pan: Brilliant! I am so appreciative that you came up with this great idea! [Disclosure: This reply generated by ReplyAI. The actual human behind this account could not be bothered to engage in any meaningful way with actual thoughts.] 😉
