Embed Video Links (YouTube, Loom, Wistia, and Vimeo)

I would love to see support for unfurling/embedding videos when you paste in a link from YouTube, Loom, Wistia, and Vimeo. ## HOW THIS MIGHT WORK When you paste in a video link (from one of the supported services), you would be presented with an option to either "Dismiss" or "Embed". "Dismiss" would paste in the link, as it normally would. "Embed" would embed the video for playback right inside of the editor. Notion (and many other platforms) do this really well. ## USE-CASE A major use-case for this would be taking notes on videos. You could also use the new split-screen feature of NotePlan to have the video on the right and your notes on the left.

I guess there are some challenges with 3rd party embeds in notes, especially for privacy/GDPR reasons, and confidentiality reasons, for example when publishing notes. I would prefer local videos in addition. A rich text preview for links to videos would be neat.

Eric Eggert All issues related to the things you mentioned would fall upon the user, and would have nothing to do with the tech enabling it. Notion, Scrintal, Craft (in the near future), and countless other platforms have these features, without issue or complaint. But sure, having local video files would be welcome, too. But that's a different feature request than the one here.
