Did you try turning off calendars in the "Calendars" preferences? Does this do what you request? You can hide complete calendars. I'm not sure if you would want to hide individual events, isn't that too much work?
Eduard Metzger: Hey Eduard, thanks for the reply. I have turned off some calendars yet would actually find it more useful to be able to hid some specific events. On regular basis actually. And it's definitely not your fault, but it's probably easier to change software than to change my partner and colleagues. 1. My partner likes to add EVERYTHING to our family calendar and even though I admit it's useful to see events that involve both of us. I don't need to see certain events once l know they are happening (or Time-blocked them i my Daily Note), but I don't want to delete them either. E.g. events over several days, things that belong more to my partner. 2. Subscribed calendars: Birthdays, Holidays, Company subscription or classes or events from e.g. Sched (which get's super overloaded). I do find it useful to get se these events and plan accordingly, but some birthdays are just not that relevant to me since they are fulled from facebook.
🇸🇪 Phillip: Thanks for elaborating, I think I understand now!
Fantastical does this. Very useful feature. Especially when subscribed to company calendars where some entries don’t apply but you can’t delete them.
I would appreciate this as well. I’m subscribed to company calendars and only 10% of the meetings apply to me. For a good representation of how this feature can be implemented, check out Fantastical.
