Hide completed tasks when sorting by hashtag or mention

Whenever I create a task I will generally tag it with a hashtag or mention. This is particularly useful when I I’m talking to someone and I want to see my open items for them. However, it’s very distracting to see all of the completed items as well. It would be nice if I could toggle seeing all items or only open ones.

You mean in the Review view? You can turn off "completed" items in the filter I think.

Eduard Metzger: I think he means not the review but the selection of the corresponding mention or tag in the sidebar. Seeing rescheduled or completed tasks there really does not make much sense, as you mostly use mentions really when talking to someone, when you want to see all the **pending** things that relate to that person (what you wanted to discuss, not what you already discussed; what you expect from him, not what he has already given to you). Maybe adding some quick toggle would do the trick. Like having quick filters “Show all / Show incomplete / Show rescheduled / Show canceled”.

Anton Sklyar: I think I agree. I have so many @done(...) and @due(...) and similarly uniquelly dated mentions in my sidebar that it has become pointless. Likewise I have many instances of a small number of @persons, and so seeing the pending ones is usually what I'm after. So much so that I have made a script that just shows pending things from a pre-defined subset of @persons.

Eduard Metzger: sorry for the late reply. I was not talking about review but rather the sidebar. I understand I can do it in review but then I have to save each filter and it gets tedious and cumbersome.

Jonathan: Ok, got it. I see what you mean!
