High CPU in background
Even when minimized Noteplan (3.9.7) is still using a lot of CPU (around 20%) on Mac (Macbook Pro m1 Sonoma 14)

Hi Marc, thanks for sharing this. I just checked the Activity monitor on my side (running Sonoma), it's around 0 for me. If you just launched NotePlan, then it might still be processing the local files. Or if you are syncing something from another device. Can you reproduce it after waiting maybe a few minutes after launching and don't change notes on other devices?
