FYI According to https://stackoverflow.com/questions/25104738/text-highlight-…, Editors using ==highlight== syntax: Typora Obsidian Quilt IA Writer So %%...%% doesn’t look very standard.

This is covered under Custom Themes, see documentation: http://noteplan.co/createcustomthemes and sample themes which support `::highlight::` here: https://github.com/brokosz/NotePlan_Themes. Take one of those themes and modify them to support `%%` instead of `::` if you like.
