I always thought there was something wrong with my computer because cmd/opt click in the sidebar works, but cmd/opt-enter in the command bar don't do anything. ^^

You mean open a new empty window/split view? How would you select a note if its just a pure keyboard shortcut? In the command bar you can use cmd/opt + enter or the mouse cursor. Please elaborate, maybe this feature was meanwhile implemented!
