(macOS) Race condition with paste
I copied a ">today" from one task so I could paste it onto a handful of others. (Doing so helps me keep my weekly objectives in mind on each day's daily note.) Click paste click paste click paste click paste, etc.
It turns out that if you click, paste, then click again a little too fast, the paste will happen after the second click.

for me this is true for anything I do a little too fast, even typing. If some process doesn't keep up with typing, some letters will appear before others, like this: some letters wothers ill appear before I wonder what that process is and if typing input could be given preference.
