Make customised Markdown exportable/printable
Currently, it is not possible to print or export customised markdown syntax - it will not render. Planing a project description for instance, I would like to share it with my clients.

Jonathan Clark: RTF export doesn't include custom strikethrough, custom highlighting (background color), at least some other custom styling like underline and text color, hidden comments, task checkboxes (they become bullets); code blocks are partly styled. ... there may be more. For print-to-PDF, the list is the same, except that each of the checkbox states (open, checked, canceled, rescheduled) _does_ appear correctly
I'm sure this is true, at least for some syntax. Please can you provide the examples of what you'd like to see that you can't currently? I ask as there's active thinking about HTML extensions, which may be able to help.
