Make @mentions auto-completion remember the capitalization

It would be useful to make the @mentions remember the capitalization. It's not uncommon to meet several people with the same name, say "Anne", and to create the @ tag with their surname or first letter of their surname, say "Anne Smith" and "Anne Carter". In that case it's easier to recognize @AnneSmith and @AnneCarter than @annesmith and @annecarter. Currently the @mention auto-complet will finish the tag in lowercase letters forcing the user to recapitalize them.

Definitely!

I'm using underscores for this, so I have @client_name/person_name, say. I like that tags are auto-lowercased. It would be nice to have e.g. @names convert between @anne_smith and @AnneSmith, and #tag_names just stay as plain tags. Not sure how/where NotePlan would remember the mapping that annesmith was originally AnneSmith, or where you would change that if NP got it wrong.

Great point.
