I'd add that I'd like the option to cancel it too. Sometimes, I don't want to just delete a task, but mark that it didn't happen intentionally with a cancelled status. The x in Things is a great example of this in action.
That's a really killer feature with putting stuff to `Inbox` using global mac shortcut
I agree – I'd love to file tasks as @someday or @soon for later processing and not have them hanging over my head!
i am currently changing tasks to plain bullet points, because I don't want to see them in the open/overdue tasks. So an alternative to obtain the same effect for me would be a shortcut to change from active task to plain bullets
Just realized I duplicated this idea, this was my general idea of how it could work (replace Later with Someday) This would mean being able to move tasks to not just Move to Tomorrow but also Move to Later. This would be especially useful because the tasks wouldn't get lost as easily, as I wouldn't have to move the task from daily notes to another note and I could just see all of them under "Later". It would be especially cool if this was just a default note called [[Later]] that acted like any other note and was moved into there similar to how tasks are moved from today to tomorrow (with the arrow and original due date).
You can accomplish this by converting it to a checklist item instead?
