I just switched to noteplan and agree that some sort of natural language would be helpful. Even typing ">" feels very limiting to me. It works, but I find myself needing to type out corrections or changes.
As you're typing a task, at the end type a ">" and up will pop a window with options like "Today", "Tomorrow", "Next Week", etc that work with NotePlan's calendar notes. It's not exactly what you're looking for, but works well.
100% this! I find that there's quite a bit of friction when working with dates. Natural language would help a LOT.
Would also love to see natural language / intelligent date interpretation. Current approach is okay, but not something I particularly like about Noteplan. I keep having to remind myself of the limitations every time I try to add a date.
This is a very powerful addition to a calendar app.
While I liked NotePlan generally, this was one of the primary reasons I stopped using it. The date formatting was just too tedious for me.
I'm not sure if I understand it correctly because in no plan you can also type >today and it will show you the auto completion. You can also type into weeks without spaces or any other natural way and it will give you the correct auto completion. Or do you mean something different or is it not working for you correctly?
