Note polution, need collapse option

I'm using tags to organize my notes so I don't rely on folders. However, new notes are added to the left panel. After creating many notes, I have to scroll down far just to get to the tags. Please provide a way to collapse the notes or a way to create new notes in a specific folder.

You could put all of your notes in one "master" folder, and then hit ctl-opt-cmd / to close it and give you access to the tags and mentions

You can right-click a folder and create a note there, or what do you mean? Also, in tags you can have subtags, like #tag/sub and create a kind of folder system in tags
