OCR Capability - Ability Search within PDF files and Image files
Add ability to search within Pdf files and images using OCR.
Highlight matching words within PDF file or image file.
Similar to OCR search feature within Evernote.

From my point of view, this feature would be great. I currently use Noteplan for my work notes and bear for my private notes. In bear I can search for text in photos and PDFs and I sorely miss this function in Noteplan.

Even having the ability to search w/in PDFs or Images especially with previously performed OCR would be amazing, I don't think this would require NotePlan to have its own native OCR

A nice feature indeed, but I think that Noteplan still needs to grow and finetune its Markdown and BuJo capabilities. I do not see a need to store PDFs in Noteplan, why not store them with other material externally, link to them and keep the BuJo tidy and slick, use it on the iphone and even synch via mobile. Of course, everybody uses the app in a unique way, so this is a personal view. But considering Noteplan's main purpose (digital BuJo), the cost of OCR financially and developerwise, and the fact that OCR is getting more common on OS level, I would not see this as a priority.
I also prefer the ability to search within text of files like PDF, Word, RTF, etc.
