"Partially completed" task state

Is this a planned feature?

Emacs org mode use - [-] , and that would be my preference. :)

I also miss this feature. But not only for sub tasks. Some state like partially or in progress would be useful.

I have long wanted this simple feature as distinct from the more elaborate rescheduling of partially completed tasks. My preference would be for the text of partially completed tasks to be greyed (completed so far as that day's listing is concerned) though this is something that could be customised via the theme.
