Place Weekly notes reference above Daily Notes Reference on Today page

After using weekly notes for a few weeks, I think weekly note references should be first on the page, and daily note references should 2nd on the Today page. Is it possible to change the order they are referenced?

I don't use the reference area at all for the Daily information but the weekly note I do use. Ideally I'd like to have the option of what to show in the reference are as a setting. Without that I'd rather have weekly note shown. To be fair it is not a critical need for me.

Thanks for sharing this! Can you elaborate why that would be better? It's an easy change, but like to read your thoughts. In my personal use I didn't have this need so far.

Eduard Metzger: My thoughts (Colin may have others): weeks are made up of days. So to the extent that there's a hierarchy or order, weeks feel like they should come before days, not the other way around.

Eduard Metzger: Hi Eduard, My thoughts are the same. My daily reference is all about today, and I use that more on a daily basis than Weekly Notes. I only look at the weekly note once each day, but Daily throughout the day. For example, my running Monthly note, gets, added to weekly and then weekly gets pushed to daily. with the daily reference and note driving the day.

Eduard Metzger: The flow of information for me is important. The Daily Note references should lead right into your active Daily Notes. So rather than Daily —> Weekly —> Today, the order would naturally make sense to go Weekly —> Daily —> Today. That’s my $0.02.

tf: Thanks for elaborating. This makes sense, I haven't seen it like that, but you are right, there's a sense of hierarchy and also if you schedule something into a day, the weekly references are kind of in between and interrupt the hierarchy.
