Please open filters like other views

Currently it is not possible to, for example, cmd-click on a filter to get a new window, nor open a filter with the quick switcher This makes it impossible to, say, have a secondary "overdue" window from which one can drag tasks into the window with the calendar. I want (and am grumpy about the lack of) this ability on a daily basis. Also, this forces me to use the mouse to look at filters, when I can do almost everything else with the keyboard.

I agree that this would be great. I review everything I need to do using Filters & would love to have a window open all the time.

Agree with the point about the keyboard shortcut for different set of filters, that's what I was missing for a while

Thanks for sharing this! We can add it to the quick switcher quite easily, but opening in new window is a bit more difficult, but I see your point. Makes sense.
