Scan documents

There is already a request for Mac (here:https://noteplan.canny.io/general-feature-request/p/scan-doc…) It would be nice to have it on iOS/iPadOS. Furthermore it would be nice to utilise the ability to scan documents that is already implemented in notes app and I think that it is available as an api. Maybe here you can find more info: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/visionkit Now that attachments are supported, it would be nice to be able to tap on that camera button and select Scan document apart from the existing take photo and photo library menu items. In notes app this mode searches for some kind of document ant automatically captures photos. There is also the ability to edit (crop, greyscale , b+w) and then it results to a nice pdf document.

Thanks for sharing this! What makes scanning different from a photo?

Added to the latest beta. See https://noteplan.co/changelog

Eduard Metzger I don’t see that in the current iOS Beta 3.17 (1337). I think you may be referencing “ Fixed Scan Document feature (on your Mac right click anywhere inside a note and select "Insert from iPhone or iPad" > "Scan Documents".” but that is not what was requested here.

Matt Bartner The latest beta should be 3.18 (1337). Which Scan are you referring to?
