Secondary mention and tag searches only produce haptic response

In iOS 15.1, the initial selection of a mention or hashtag in the menu pane populates the search field with said mention or hashtag. However, sequential selection of the mentions or hashtags does not click through to other daily and project notes. Only a haptic response is produced. In MacOS, this feature works as expected. Clearing caches has no effect. Additionally, copying and pasting the tag into the search feature at the bottom right is unresponsive.
