Wish I could downvote this. I use Noteplan as a single user and once apps start adding too many team focused features, it takes over the focus and tends to make the app less useful as an individual tool.

Has there been any more progress on this or any idea if it's in the near future? It's the only reason I can't switch completely to Noteplan with my partner.

Hello. I am a user of Craft and Obsidian. I currently looking at note taking apps that have markdown support/ bidirectional link/ web sharing and native mobile support. This lead me here. I think the app is very nicely built and really appreciate this. I really want to upvote this feature and want to see a comprehensive plan on big the scope of this feature will be. As we all knows, collaboration is not an easy thing to do. Even Obsidian is doing similar thing but the progress is slow. Therefore, a clean and comprehensive break down of such an issue would be easier for users that value collaboration to consider whether they should adopt Noteplan. For example, 1. would the collaboration be real time? like the multi-cursor thing? 2. would user be able to comment by selecting text or targeting a block? (This is likely to be a new feature beyond collaboration, but it would be nice to know if Noteplan have this in the direction) 3. Would there be something like a (Notion) workspace to add collaborators in? I think this would cover most common questions for the collaboration feature.
With the beta 3.7.2 you can share synced notes with other NotePlan users. The only limitation right now is if you move a note, it gets unshared.
I've recently adopted Noteplan (❤️), and just hit the wall trying to get my managed Apple ID workstation to be visible from both a managed BYOD iPhone and a personal Mac. I'm scratching my head, but know you'll probably give this an elegant treatment if you can. Godspeed! It will really allow our team to embrace this.

If I could vote, this should be the next big feature to work on. We have now multiple team members using NotePlan - even my wife is using NotePlan - some way of collaboration to work on some topics together would be a great tool. Sharing checklists, collection research information, or planning the trip would be my primary use case.
Hi - I would like to share notes and folders with another Apple ID, but after 45 minutes of searching I cannot find any reference regarding how to add a "space" in the sidebar or how people are defined in the "space". Please point me in the right direction!
John Sobraske: Hey sorry for this confusion. It's only a feature request at this point, but to assure you, it's quite likely that I'm going to add it!
Eduard Metzger: That would be an awesome feature to at least be able to share a note or something with some other person. Is this feature already on a roadmap or something?
Michael: You can share already with other persons by publishing them (see the export button top of a note). But sharing between NotePlan users is also planned.
