Agreed. The Drafts approach is the most elegant -- if text is selected, it's added as a quote; otherwise you get just the link. Note too that the share-sheet format is user-set, in app preferences, so in my case I think I have the link before the quote
Agreeing. Rather than the iOS share extension just prepending a plain URL, at least make it a markdown URL with title.
You mean you want to select a regular note in the share sheet + make it a markdown link? I'm not 100% getting it, sorry.
Suggestion from the Discord (@dwertheimer): "You could pass a quote from a safari page and the URL in one go, that gets married with a template inside of Noteplan and creates a new document or appends it or whatever. Yes, you could use QTN on the other side of this to have pre-defined folder, title format, etc."
HI Eduard Metzger , now that you’ve perfected the shortcuts and added support for multiple media formats, wouldn’t it be great to refine the share extension of NotePlan as well?
