Eduard Metzger do you mean a progressbar for the **task itself** or is it for the case when the task has a wiki-link to some note, and thus the progressbar displays percentage of **completed tasks from that note**?
Anton Sklyar: Sorry for the late reply. I mean for the task itself. This was a request by another user I got in the email.
For info for others, this is _already_ possible with the Reviews plugin for a whole note. The progress indicators look like this:
Jonathan Clark: I agree that percentage is desirable for project overviews, not for individual tasks. But as I understood this feature request is about adding progressbars to individual tasks. I personally do not think that I would ever need such a feature for **tasks**. If your task needs a progressbar it would probably mean it contans several subtasks in it, and thus it is actually a project.
What I would love to see instead is: 1. When I have a task that has a wiki-link in it, transform the task circle into a circlular progressbar showing the percentage of tasks completed in the referenced note. 2. When I have a note that has tasks in it, display circular or linear progressbar at the top of that note (top-left or top-right). 3. When I have a collapsed heading that has tasks in it, display number of complete and incomplete tasks (and optionally a progressbar) somewhere near the heading. Could be turned on or off, of course, because that could add some visual clutter that is not desirable for everyone.
