Eduard Metzger: No, I'm not seeing it. Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing, I'm talking about the following: I have a note (not a daily note, but a project note under "Notes"). In that note, I have a task: * Do this thing I mark that note as complete. Now it says: * [x] Do this thing @done(2021-09-07 09:50 AM) I switch over to today's daily note, and I'd like to see a record there, but I don't.
Dane Collins: Aaaah, I got it. I was not using the @done tags. It works if you add >2021-09-07 to the task. But I see your point. It looks a bit redundant, if it’s already mentioned in the @done tag.
Eduard Metzger: Related note: this may not be a good fit for others, but for my use, it would be great to have the option to see completed tasks from archived notes in there. My workflow is this: I create a project note, and then I put dates for the tasks I want to get done on the project. When the project is complete, I archive the note to get it out of the way. But then I don't have a log of what's done.
Dane Collins: Yes, one thing I need to add is a way to filter the references to avoid getting it cluttered through completed or otherwise marked tasks. Then this can be added as well.
I like this - I currently keep a "Results" note of all the things I do throughout the year, but it's nice to be able to see what what accomplished when in the daily notes.
Can you please check again on your side, the linked, completed task should appear as completed at the top of your daily note. I also crust checked on my side using: * [x] hello world >2021-09-06 In a project note. It shows as completed at the top of today’s note. Or if I misunderstood, please clarify!
