Strange interaction with macOS clipboard?

I've recently started experimenting with tools such as RocketTypist, Alfred Snippets, etc. that monitor the keyboard and use the clipboard to replace text. NotePlan seems to behave strangely with these tools when others do not. For example, I have a snippet ;date that expands to today's date. I use it a ton. But if I use it in NotePlan shortly after putting something else in the clipboard, such as "I burned my Hawaiian pizza. I should have used aloha temperature" I get "I burned my Hawaiian pizza. I should have used aloha temperature" INSTEAD of the date. I can then go to another app, use the snippet, get the date, and then return to NotePlan, use the snippet, and get "I burned my Hawaiian pizza. I should have used aloha temperature" again. It's weird. Other typical apps don't have this issue, and different text expansion apps all show this problem in NotePlan. Is NotePlan doing something fancy with monitoring the clipboard?

Thanks for sharing this, I think we came across this once. But I'm not sure what the solution was. NotePlan doesn't monitor the clipboard unless you paste it into the editor, then it reads the clipboard. Need to try once of the apps to see what it could be.
