You should be able to do this. You can either drag & drop the image into the editor or copy it to the clipboard and paste it. Like when you create a screenshot. Does it work for you?
Eduard Metzger: Hmm, not sure why it does not work on my end? I will do some more testing to see if I can track down where it goes awry.
Mike Erickson: Feel free to send a video here or on Discord, then I could check what’s going wrong. It’s not too easy I think. Sometimes the cursor doesn’t appear for dropping the image.
Eduard Metzger: Hey bud, I have been able to track down where this not working. I have had much success copy/pasting from other sources, but finally I stumbled upon a case where this does not work. If I attempt to copy/paste from Evernote (which is part of my plan to migrate from Evernote to NotePlan) it will NOT work. I have found a method which *will* work, if I open the image from within Evernote to Preview, I am then able to copy/paste the image again into NotePlan. So, go ahead and close this request :-)
Mike Erickson: Ah, ok I see. Might be they don’t paste the image data into the clipboard from the editor. NotePlan does something similar if you select an image AND text to copy. Closing…
Make a short video or gif if not sure how, but I just drag an image into the editor. You need to drop it exactly into the text, you will see a cursor as target.
