If you drag a task into the timeline on the right, it becomes a timeblock and will send you a notification, if you turn it on, did you see this? Alternatively, it can create calendar events for you as well (which will send notifications).

I have also wanted this feature for a while now. what i understand is to have "time-sensitive" notification as the reminders app has Below the settings of notifications of Reminders app. As i read it may be something that the developer of any app could have.
