"Today" as top item in sidebar

I propose to rearrange the first items of the sidebar: - Rename "Daily notes" to "Today", because today's note is likely to be the most frequently accessed through this button, for other date the calendar is a more natural access point. This would also improve consistency with keyboard shortcut **Cmd-T**. - Move "Today" to top, because this is most likely the most frequently used navigation item of the sidebar - Move "Search" to second place, because it's the other very frequently used navigation item in the sidebar - Rename "Week" to "This Week" (only Mac) The short term benefit is a simpler UI. The long term benefit is to open up space for access to more advanced time-related note-taking features. I'd love to see an `Edit` option where I can rearrange these items and add/remove as needed... much like I can in many iOS apps. User control would seem to me to be the best approach here.

I really like having the quick access to Week in the sidebar (and I'd use it even more if it auto-scrolled to the current day!)

Rhubarb: I clearly cannot keep up :) Interesting idea. I mainly toggle calendar notes through the calendar sidebar on the right but can't get to Week view from there currently. I'll have to think more on what my preference would be!

Rhubarb: Yes! I think that would be my preference. But you present some good points in your other post, too. I'm just worried it could "clutter" the left sidebar — which I mainly use to navigate my project notes.

Stacey: This feature request here is just about changing the sequence and some of the wording of existing features. (Thanks for pointing out, that deleting "Week" wasn't such a good idea. I updated the original post.) The [other discussion](https://noteplan.canny.io/task-management/p/weekly-planning) is about expanding Noteplan's features.
