Toggle the sidebar by automatically extending the window

Hi there, I suggest adding an option of toggling the folder sidebar by automatically extending the window. A real example is the standard behavior of Things3: https://culturedcode.com/things/support/articles/3238254/ I keep NotePlan on the side of the screen while I'm resuming some articles/documents or having video calls. Whenever I want to open the sidebar, the space for the note gets heavily reduced, forcing me to resize the window manually. Same way when I want to hide the sidebar, since otherwise, NotePlan will take up too much space on my screen. For me, this would remove a very annoying behavior for which I'm not using much the Sidebar and it's quite a pity. Hope other people think the same way ;)

Oh, I got it now. Yes, it keeps the same width. Have noted it!

Hey, thanks for sharing this! It should already toggle automatically, unless you manually open and close the sidebars. This turns the toggle off basically. But restart NotePlan and then resize it, it should work like this already?

Eduard Metzger: Thank you for getting back to me! Probably I didn't express myself adequately, right now the size of the NotePlan3 window never change automatically: when you toggle the sidebar the editor panel gets shrunk making it not very usable (if you keep the window is a regular size). Instead, I would love to have a behavior similar to Things, where the window size becomes wider when you toggle the sidebar so it never affects the space of the editor. Does it make sense?
