click on a day in calendar does not get to the day from within the week view

A click on the new week numbers in the mac calendar pane, gets to the week - great!
But a click back on a single day stays in the week. There is no good way to come back to a single day.
From my perspective:
When a user is in the week view, a click on a day in the calendar should go to the day and not to the week.

Thanks for bringing this up, we have discussed this also in the Discord community. I think it makes sense to make it more consistent like you mentioned. Click on a day, you go to a day, click on a week number and you go to a week.

I would also prefer that click on a day should got to the daily note.
By the way Frank Epperlein, I noticed that you can get to a day note by right clicking a day in the calendar and selecting "Open Day" option.
