Most of the entry-assisting menus in Noteplan work like this:
1) Start typing something like '[['
2) continue typing
3) menu of things you might want appears
4) use arrows to select the needed item
5) hit enter
6) selected item is put in place in the note, menu closes
Contrast this with the menu you get with '>today':
1) Start typing '>'
2) continue typing 'today'
3) menu of things you might want appears
4) use arrows to select the needed item
5) hit enter
6) selected item is put in place in the note, menu closes AND REOPENS
5) hit enter
6) menu closes AND REOPENS
5) hit enter
6) menu closes AND REOPENS
5) hit enter
6) menu closes AND REOPENS
5) hit enter
6) menu closes AND REOPENS
5) hit enter
6) menu closes AND REOPENS
5) hit enter
6) menu closes AND REOPENS
5) hit enter
6) menu closes AND REOPENS
Seems broken but I'm not sure if there's some other purpose behind it.
