Customize "quarters"
Jonathan Ragan-Kelley
Having longer-term planning notes is great. However, "quarterly" planning for many people works well when the periods are aligned to some natural structure in their year, not just an arbitrary fixed set of 3 months starting on January 1st.
For example, in academic settings, the natural cadence is aligned with the academic terms. It would be very valuable to be able to customize the start/end for "quarters," including allowing different terms to be different lengths.

Another use case is that some businesses' fiscal quarters do not automatically align with the traditional calendar year quarters. Being able to track quarterly goals in a way that matches how the business tracks its quarters would add more value. Currently, Quarter notes aren't very useful when the quarters don't align.

This would be great. I plan according to the seasons. So my first quarter starts at Imbolc (1 February), my second at Beltane (1 May) and so on.

This would be amazing!
