I have a large monitor, but tables are still squashed into a column down the middle of the screen. Is it possible to make the text/tables stretch too, so that the surrounding screen real estate is made use of?

I've attached an example (ignore the tags, it's just for illustration). You can see that the table, which has seven days on it, can't be seen in full even though there's plenty of space either side.
